Here are five facts about me that will help you to get to know me better.
1. I am a minimalist.
I don’t live out of a suitcase or anything like that but I do only have the things (and relationships and responsibilities) that I choose to have in my life. I’ve removed everything else, and it feels GOOD.
2. I love learning.
I read and research pretty much every day. It takes illness, stress, or extreme busyness to keep me from pursuing learning.
3. I overthink and I analyze.
This is an unfortunate fact about me. I don’t like it, and it tends not to be true when I spend time in the Word (because my eyes are on HIM instead of on me and my problems) yet it happens far too often (because I don’t spend enough time in the Word!!)
4. I am a teacher at heart.
I love lesson planning, choosing curriculum (and creating my own), observing the way kids learn, and teaching! I didn’t know any of these things until I had my first child and she began teaching me about how interesting the world is. We have been homeschooling ever since!
5. I love writing.
When I started my first blog in 2012, I began being interested in writing. Personal posts, stories, articles – I love them all! The process for each is different but they’re all enjoyable.
Thanks for reading and getting to know me a little bit better!
See you next time!
